Jork Engineering was among the companies awarded the contract for the manufacture and support of prepaid electricity meters in Nigeria by the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency. Our passed test certificate is shown on the right side of this page.
We produce two types of the prepaid meter:
1. Three-phase Keypad Prepayment Energy meter - CA368
2. One phase Keypad Prepayment Energy meter - DDSY168
The CA368 and DDSY168 Prepaid Energy Meters are proudly patented products of MARKSEDE.
These STS compliant meters features an optical port for inspection read-out, a terminal cover open detector and a built-in real-time clock for recording End of Billing data. It conforms to the IEC 62056-21 standard and exists in single and three phase versions. This meter operates ideally in conjunction with the ECMI software suite for prepayment vending management.
Three-phase Keypad Prepayment Energy meter – CA368
CA368 products are manufactured in accordance with the 1509001 standards to ensure the reliability of the product. The meter works in a three phase four wire or three wire (optional) network with 100 Amp per phase, and 30 Vm withstand of RF immunity, allowing it to operate in very severe environments. It is a perfect revenue protection device for sub-metering of residential, light commercial and industrial applications.

One phase Keypad Prepayment Energy meter – DDSY168
DDSYl68 is keypad based prepayment electric meter. It is compliant with FEC62055-41,and Standard Transfer Specification (STS)standards. The meter reads on preset credit and detects the tamper like meter case open. terminal cover open, shorted circuit , reverse connection and etc. Short codes are provided for the users to toggle up various information.
